New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi will lecture a program on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of the implementation of the NEP 2020 on July 29 in the country. This address of PM Narendra Modi will be done through video conferencing.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will also accompany the program and he will also address it. Meanwhile, on Monday, the government said the Lok Sabha that the Ministry of Education is formulating a draft of a bill for the association of the Higher Education Commission of India.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that the Ministry of Education had declared the new National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 on 29 July 2020, In response to a written question asked in the Lok Sabha. As per this policy, there is a requirement for the formation of the Higher Education Commission of India. There will be 4 separate independent bodies for regulation, funding, accreditation, and making academic standards.
