 Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a speech on the role of NEP 2020 on Monday. He said the main objective of the National Education Policy is to learn instead of thinking. PM Modi said that everyone involved to implement the National Education Policy 2020 is responsible for the spirit.

NEP 2020 is the latest education policy in India. The ministry passed the last education policy in 1986. After 34 years the cabinet passed a new education policy in 2020 in the month of July. PM Modi said that with this education policy, streams and disciplines are incurred.

STUDENTS WILL NOT FACE ANY BURDEN WITH NEP 2020

Earlier students were under pressure to choose different streams of their choice. With this policy, students will not face any burden of choosing different streams. PM Modi said that our present generation youth will study as per their choice and interest.

Earlier students usually pick any stream. Afterward, they realize that it’s beyond their aptitude. But, with education policy, this problem is under concern.

NEP 2020 WILL MAKE BIG CHANGES IN EDUCATION

Narendra Modi said that the Government of India is trying to make the country a place of knowledge economy in the 21st century. The policy creates a way to make big changes in the education structure both at the school-level and in higher education levels. It makes India a global knowledge superpower.

EVERYONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF NEP 2020

As the foreign and defence policy is of the country, in the same way, education policy is of the country, not of the government.

PM Modi said that it is our responsibility to implement the national education policy in letter and spirit. The greater number of teachers, students, and parents will involve in the education policy, the more appropriate and broader base it will form.
