NEP 2020: ACADEMIC BANK OF CREDIT SCHEME

The ABC scheme allows students to enroll in different universities. To complete half their credits from their university. Later, change and complete half from other universities.

DU will be conducting an academic council meet on 23rd August. But, D.U.T.A has opposed the meet. As it means changing and redefining the university into an open schooling university.

Under ABC,  the students have their free will to change the university. They have to collect 50% credits from one university and can change the university after. The students can even take the rest credits online via the Swayam app.
If students want they can take a break from studies and continue afterward. This would ensure a kind of flexibility among the course for the students as well.
