NEET 2020 entrance examination was executed successfully on 13th September 2020. The exam was held under strict supervision and adherence to the COVID 19 guidelines.

After the completion of the exam, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishnak’ verified that the entrance test observed 85 to 90%+ attendance from the candidates already enrolled. Despite the difficult circumstances of COVID-19, students managed to appear for the exams.

NEET 2020 : A BIG TASK COMPLETED 

HRD Minister shared the information about NEET Entrance Examination 2020 via twitter. He was glad to share that more than 90% of students appeared for the exams. The data released by the Education Minister has also been vetted and substantiated by NTA (National Testing Agency) who is responsible to hold the medical entrance exam.

Pokhriyal appreciated State CMs 

Before the NTA executed the exam, its conduction shaped into a big political battle between the central government and the opposition ruled State Chief Ministers.

In fact, six CMs of the opposition party filed a review petition in Supreme Court. They asked to postpone the exams amid a pandemic,  which the court ultimately dismissed.

However, despite these disagreements, the state governments and local administrations worked unitedly to assure that the NEET 2020 should complete without any glitches. Also, following COVID-19 guidelines to ensure the safety of students and parents.  After the successful execution of the NEET entrance exam Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal also thanked all state Chief Ministers.  For broadening their assistance in carrying out the examination.
