It is expected that the National Testing Agency, NTA will declare the NEET 2020 result on October 12. So, it will declare the result on the official website ntaneet.nic.in.
Candidates who pass the required cut-off will be eligible to come up for the counseling session. On behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee(MCC), the Directorate General of Health Sciences(DGHS) will conduct the All India Quota (AIQ) NEET 2020 counseling session.
NEET 2020 PROVISIONAL ANSWER KEY RELEASED
The National Testing Agency has already released NEET 2020 OMR sheet, question paper, and the provisional answer key. However, it will declare the final answer key with NEET 2020 results.
Under 15 percent AIQ, the seats are at government colleges, except those in Jammu and Kashmir. There are seats at the central and deemed universities. Moreover, the administration reserved some seats for Wards of Insured Persons in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation(ESIC) medical colleges. Some seats are available at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NEET 2020 COUNSELING
Rest 85 percent of seats are in government and private dental and medical colleges. The state authorities will conduct the NEET counseling session. Students who want to appear for NEET counseling have to qualify for NEET results that meet the required percentile. However, they have to register on the MCC website within the period of registration.

NEET 2020 FOR DU, AMU, BHU, JMI
- For Delhi University LHMC, UCMS, and MAMC, 85 percent of seats are for those students who passed their classes 11 and 12 in Delhi. Rest 15 percent of seats are under All India Quota.
- For Aligarh Muslim University, half of the seats are open to all NEET qualified candidates and the other half is reserved for students who studied in AMU schools for at least three years.
- Under BHU, all the students who qualified for the NEET 2020 exam are eligible to participate in the BHU MBBS counseling session.
- For the Faculty of Dentistry, JMI, there are 50 BDS seats in the institute. The administration reserved three seats under internal quota. It is for those students who passed the exam from Jamia Schools as regular students. Rest 47 BDS is open to all.

Under the AIQ, NEET reservation criteria, 15 percent of seats are for SC students. 7.5 percent and 27 percent are for ST and OBC category respectively. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare brought EWS quota also in NEET-UG admission and it reserved 10 percent of seats for the students who belong from a financially unsound background.
As per the NEET 2020 results, students will get admission under 80,005 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 525 BVSc and AH seats in Medical Colleges of India. Moreover, AIIMS and JIPMER institute will also grant admission based on NEET results.
