The University of Mumbai has informed various degree colleges affiliated with it, to complete the remaining syllabus soon as the varsity will conduct the second semester from 1 January 2021 to 31 May 2021. Summer break has been announced by the University of Mumbai for this academic year and it will begin from 1 June 2021 and last only till 13 June 2021.
A notice has been released by the varsity mentioning the academic calendar for all the diploma, certificate, diploma, post-graduate (PG), as well as master degree courses concerning all the streams in the affiliated colleges of the university. As per the academic calendar of 2020-21, the first semester was conducted from 7 August 2020 to 31 December 2020 and now the second semester has commenced from 1 January 2021 which will last up to 31 May.
Diwali Vacation, last year, was declared from 12 November 2020 to 18 November 2020 which comprised of 7 days. For those students who are pursuing a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) program, there will be no summer vacation, the notice further added.
As the online examinations were completed by last week, currently the colleges are in the process of declaring results for the first sem. Online lectures for the next sem have begun and being continued simultaneously.
