UGC notice for MPhil and Ph.D. students: University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued an important notice for MPhil and Ph.D. students. The notice states that the final appreciation for submitting the MPhil and Ph.D. thesis (dissertation) has been extended.
However, these students can now submit their research and thesis on 31 December 2021. In this regard, the notice s also present on the official website. UGC’s official website is ugc.ac.in.
Furthermore, The notice stated that in keeping with the interests of research scholars, MPhil, as well as Ph.D. students, were required to submit their thesis for six months (by December 31, 2021) by June 30, 2021.
At the same time, an extension of six months may be granted to present evidence of publication and presentation at the two conferences. However, the tenure of the fellowship will be for 5 years only.
