Mouni Roy is an English (Hons) graduate from the 2005 batch of Miranda. As per the actress, hanging out at Kamla Nagar Market was one of her best memories. Getting admissions in Miranda House was like a dream come true for her. Also, the college encouraged and fanned her interests in reading.
Why did Mouni Roy come from West Bengal to study at DU?
Delhi University offers one of the best syllabus for literature, she said. Hence, she made up her mind to enroll here. Also, Mouni was 16 when she left for Delhi. Thus, her father suggested her to enroll in a girls’ college.
Why did the actress take up English (Hons)?
Mouni expressed her extreme love for literature and books in general. Thus, diving into them, learning from them, and growing along with them meant everything to her. Also, she loved literature ever since she was in standard 6th or 7th.
