On Monday, the Ministry of education has directed all the centrally funded education institutions including IIITs, NITs, CUs, and IITs to postpone all offline exams which were scheduled for this month. This move is given the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic which created a situation of panic and fix amongst the teachers, students, and everyone else in the country.
Although, the Ministry of Education has directed for a postponement only for the offline exams whereas, for the online exams, the decision currently lies solely on the institutions.
By now, many education institutions have already postponed the exams. Recently, the University of Delhi has also deferred the final year examinations till June 1 and canceled the exams for the intermediate years.
