Manish Sisodia, the Delhi Deputy Chief Minister as per the Wheels initiative inaugurated the Delhi Technical University’s lab. As per the official statement issued by the Delhi Technological University, under the lab on wheels initiative, DTU students will wander across Delhi to teach underprivileged and government school students.

Provisions under Lab on Wheels

DTU’s Lab on Wheels initiative has been inaugurated under Delhi Technological University’s Education Reaches You programme. According to the statement issued by the Deputy Chief Minister’s office, the lab on wheels initiative is a customized bus readied with over 17 computers, a 3D printer, a printer, two televisions, and cameras.

DTU Students to deliver lectures

As a component of the initiative, Delhi Technological University students will be delivering lectures and tutorials to the underprivileged children and students of Delhi government schools. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister further stated that the programme will assist in delivering joy in learning for the students studying in Delhi government schools and act as a guidance and information cell for the students.

He further made it a point to appreciate the efforts of volunteers of DTU who under the programme of Extension and Field Outreach will assist 44 lakh Delhi Government School students to discover their way, think and realize their ambitions.

Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia who is also the Delhi education minister also inaugurated Pragya Bhawan, a new classroom complex and a new center for the design department at Delhi Technical University.
