The University Grants Commission (UGC) has allocated a circular to the registrars of all the state, central, and honorary universities including Delhi University (DU), across the nation, to disclose the data on reservation for EWS and disabled.

The circular reported that the information related to reservation for EWS and the disabled should be made public in all the colleges and universities across the nation and at all points.

The UGC has indicated in its circular that all centrally aided colleges, universities, and educational organizations must execute the reservation policy of the government properly.

The Delhi Teachers Association (DTA), greeting the commission’s circular, has urged that DU’s Vice-Chancellor execute it as soon as possible.

Hansraj Suman, Delhi Teachers Association in-charge, mentioned that the UGC circular comprises all the teaching and non-teaching posts. Moreover, the reservation enrollment should be published on its website from time to time.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has also inquired that the reserved seats lying vacant should be restored in all the establishments. The UGC has also supervised the universities to educate the colleges affiliated to them of the handout.
