Maitreyi College Delhi University announced registration for the short term courses. Candidates who want to take admission in various foreign language courses can fill the registration form available on the official website of the college. The session will begin in the second week of September and classes will be held online.
Maitreyi College is a center for administering Foreign Language Courses (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Certificate). Each course is of 10 months duration, exams are held by the University at the end of the Academic session. Students may also note that they can pursue only one part-time language course in any academic year.
Candidates seeking a part-time language course and some other courses from the Delhi University may point out that the Department does not take any responsibility for the adjustment of dates for annual examinations.
According to the DU and MHA guidelines, Classes will be online as of now. Network Connectivity is essential for this course (no fee will be refunded if classes are lost due to poor network issues).
All candidates may kindly note that although the short term courses are online at present if guidelines change and offline classes are held, attendance in person will be mandatory.

FEES AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR VARIOUS SHORT TERM COURSES:
1. CERTIFICATE COURSES:
Students who have a certificate of the Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or any other recognized board can apply for this course.
Admission will be made in order of merit based on the marks in degree/certificate in each of the courses an aggregate of at least 55% marks is eligible to apply.
The fee for the certificate course is INR 13,800/- (thirteen thousand eight hundred only). Students are requested to confirm their registration by paying a fee via Net banking and send details of transaction-ID, date, and time of payment/transaction. Please make sure that the candidate’s name is on the payment receipt and upload a screenshot with payment details.
2. DIPLOMA COURSES
Candidates who have passed the certification examination of the University of Delhi in a language or an examination recognized as equivalent to the above can apply for this language.
Admissions will be made strictly in order of merit of the respective certificate course examination (Please upload requisite documents at the time of registration). Please scan & upload your admit card if the result is not declared as yet.
Students who have obtained their Certificate in the language from any other University or one year or more before the year of admission shall be expected to appear in an admission exam.
The Fee for the diploma course is INR 17,250/-(seventeen thousand two hundred fifty only). Students are requested to confirm their registration by paying a fee via Net banking and send details of transaction-ID, date, and time of payment/transaction. Please make sure that the candidate’s name is on the payment receipt and upload a screenshot with payment details.
3. ADVANCED DIPLOMA COURSES
Candidates who have passed the Diploma examination in a language concerned from the University the Advanced Diploma Course in the respective language.
Students who have obtained their Diploma in the language from any other University or one year or more before the year of admission will be expected to appear in an admission exam. Please scan & upload the results of the Certificate, Diploma; in case the result of the Diploma not declared, scan, and upload the Admit card of the Diploma Exam.
DELHI UNIVERSITY SHORT TERM COURSES WHICH CAN BE DONE BY REGULAR STUDENTS
The Fee for the advanced diploma course is INR 20,000/- (twenty thousand only). Students are requested to confirm their registration by paying a fee via Net banking and send details of transaction-ID, date, and time of payment/transaction. Please make sure that the candidate’s name is on the payment receipt and upload a screenshot with payment details.
Documents Required For Filling Registration Form:
To fill the form of short term courses please make sure that you have read and understood all instructions and guidelines completely. In case you are applying for Diploma and Advanced diploma, please upload a mark sheet if the certificate is not yet awarded.

Screenshot of Fee Payment – Please pay the fee via Net banking and upload a screenshot with payment details (clearly visible transaction-id, date, and time of payment). Make sure that the candidate’s name is visible on the payment receipt.
Withdrawing From Courses:
Only under special circumstances will withdrawal be allowed. If the withdrawal is within one week of the beginning of classes, a 90% fee will be returned. If a withdrawal is within 15 days of the beginning of classes, an 80% fee will be returned. There will be no fee will be returned after 15 days, no fee will be returned.
