The Delhi University-affiliated Lakshmibai College is trying to help the citizens through its new vaccination drive. Thus, the college has collaborated with the office of the District Magistrate, Northwest Delhi. The government of NTC of Delhi is glad to announce this new Walk-in Vaccination Drive organized by Lakshmibai College. This vaccination drive being from Today onwards, i.e. 28th May 2021.

Terms of the walk-in vaccination drive conducted at Lakshmibai College:
The walk-in vaccination drive will be open for everyone. Thus, people can visit the campus of Lakshmibai college from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for their jabs. Also, the campus will be shut on Sunday. However, this walk-in vaccination drive is only for people aged above 45 and the covishield vaccine will be made available for everyone.
For Delhi University and its affiliated college employees, the vaccination is made completely free. Thus, all the teaching and non-teaching staff from Delhi University (permanent, ad-hoc, contractual, and retired) can avail themselves of the free vaccination. Also, the employees can bring their families with them. For the process, no prior registration is required. So, people can bring one of their identity proofs (adhaar, PAN, passport, etc) with them.

In the wake of the covid-19 crisis, Delhi University colleges are trying their best to provide assistance. Several other DU colleges are constantly working with the government and other organizations to establish as many vaccination centers as they can. So, their aim to conduct large-scale vaccination as it is the only way to check this pandemic. Along with the new vaccination drive, Lakshmibai College had also set up a Covid care center. They also began a facility to get RT-PCR tests done.
