After the release of the first cutoff in Delhi University, thousands of students got online admission on the very first day itself. According to Delhi university data, 30,554 applications were received till 7 pm on Monday for admission in various undergraduate courses.

Out of these, 2,286 applications were accepted and 795 students have deposited the fees. The principals of many colleges said that there were applications from many students who had 100 percent marks.

The process of admission for the first cutoff will end on the 6th of October

The first cutoff process for university admission will end on October 6. DU will upload the 2nd cutoff list on October 9 and the third on October 16. According to Delhi University, about 4500 students have scored 100 percentile in Arts subjects in class 12th this year.

In Hindu College, the cutoff for the general category for graduation is 100%. 90 students with this percentage of marks have applied.

At the same time, applications have been received from students with 100 percent in various college courses. Let us tell you that the number of people who applied on the first day last year was about 19 thousand.

More than 4 lakh applications were received by Delhi University 

As per the data, more than 4 lakh (4,38,696) students had applied for admission in various colleges of Delhi University. About 70 thousand seats are vacant in these colleges. The maximum number of applicants is 1.15 lakh (1,15,928) from Delhi, 55,617 from Uttar Pradesh, 37,743 from Haryana, 16,704 from Bihar, and 11,562 from Rajasthan.
