Delhi University grants admission to the students on both a merit and entrance basis. The varsity has already completed the first Spot Allotment for the admission process on an entrance basis.
However, those students who are admitted to the university have to confirm their admission by December 5, 2020. DU released an official notification in which it said that after completing the spot allotment process, shortlisted students will accomplish the given schedule of events.
LIST OF COURSES FOR SPOT ALLOTMENT PROCESS IN DU
The official notification of DU stated the completion of 1st spot allotment of seats of some courses. So, the courses include B.Tech (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation), a five-year integrated program in Journalism, B.A. Honors Humanities, B.A. Honors Multimedia and Mass Communication.
STUDENTS PROVIDED FALSE INFORMATION IN DELHI UNIVERSITY
However, DU also received the application for spot allotment of some other courses. Those courses include BMS, B.A. Honors, BBA(FIA), BBE, and, B.El.Ed. On the other hand, the varsity did not complete the final spot allotment of these programs because students submitted false information in their applications.
SPOT ALLOTMENT PROCESS IN DELHI UNIVERSITY
Those students who have got seats under the spot allotment process will get a revised admission schedule from DU. However, those students have to follow the schedule to complete all the formalities to confirm their admission.
DU SCHEDULE FOR ENTRANCE BASIS ADMISSION
So, the varsity released the result of 1st spot allotment on 2nd December. They opened the portal for the students to apply via the dashboard on 3rd December. The respective college will approve the admission of students on 4th December. Lastly, on 5th December, students have to pay their fees to confirm their admission.
