If a student wants to pursue an MBA programme or PGDM programme from IIM, he or she has to bear a total expense from 11 lakh to 28 lakhs. Each IIM disclosed its fee structure under the admission policy before started the programme. Moreover, it mentions all the expenses that includes in the total package of IIM MBA.
For the PGP programme for the academic session 2021-23, IIM Ahmedabad charges 28 Lakh. On the other hand, IIM Calcutta charges 27 lakhs and IIM Bangalore charges 23 lakhs. In newly established IIMs like IIM Trichy, the fees for the MBA programme is 11,80,000. There is a huge difference in the fee structure of old IIMs and New IIMs. Government does no support old IIMs. Whereas, the government supports new IIMs for maintenance and other expenses.
There are some of the components that are included in the fee structure of IIM. Students have to pay the fee semester wise. Some expenses that are included in the IIM fee structure are academic fees, residential fees, and tuition fees, and other miscellaneous expenses.

Under this fees package, IIM provides facilities of course materials, internet facility, alumni charges, laptops and computers, study tours, hostel charges, mess charges, library facility, and international immersions. Hostel charges are flexible depending upon single occupancy and double occupancy. The MBA fees at IIM is hiked for 2021 admissions.

So, the total fee range of the MBA programme in IIM Shillong is 14,60,000, IIM Raipur is 14,20,000, and IIM Trichy is 14 lakhs. IIM Jammu charges 13,80,000. IIM Nagpur and IIM Sambalpur charges 13,75,000 and 13,03,000. Moreover, 13 lakh is charged by IIM Udaipur for the MBA programme. Moving on to the next institution, IIM Sirmaur charges 11,75,000. IIM Kashipur charges the least fee for the MBA programme, I.e. 7,31,500.
