Apart from providing undergraduate, postgraduate, and add-on courses, many DU Colleges provide certificate courses. Certificate courses vary from food technology, legal literacy, and proficiency in science writing.
For these certificate courses, DU college would not charge a large amount as fees. At a minimal cost, students can be skilled in these courses. Consequently, Sri Venkateshwara College of DU has launched a certificate course in food science and technology.

FOOD TECHNOLOGY AS A CERTIFICATE COURSE IN DU COLLEGES
The classes for the same will commence on 14th August and continue till 9th November. Sanjay Batra is the head of the chemistry department. He said that Food technology is a very useful course. Moreover, there is a vacancy for such professionals in the beverages and packaged food industries. So, science stream students can apply for the course and DU college will also avail certificates to them.
LEGAL AWARENESS IN DU COLLEGES
One of the best girls DU Colleges, Daulat Ram College is now going to provide an add-on course on Legal literacy, awareness, and Aid. The college is collaborating with State Legal Services Authority. So, students can register for the same from 10th August to 10th September.
So, this course will be provided in online mode and other diploma courses will be in offline mode. Students who have passed class 12th from a recognized board can apply for the course.
FORENSIC SCIENCE AS A CERTIFIED COURSE
On the other hand, Hansraj College already offers a certificate course in forensic science. Now the college has decided to commence a certificate course on proficiency in science writing and communication.
