DU Admission Process: The wait for the dates expected for admission in Delhi University entrance test-based and post-graduation courses is going to end soon. DU may commence the admission registration process in the third week of July. On Monday (28 June 2021), an official said that the application process for DU admission-based and PG courses is likely to begin at least a week before the commencement of the UG courses.

Indeed, the Supreme Court on June 24 directed all state boards to declare the results of class 12th internal assessment by July 31 and gave them 10 days to prepare and release their evaluation criteria.

What did the officer say?

DU admissions chairman Rajeev Gupta said they can start the registration process (for admissions) by the 3rd week of July.

There is a possibility that at that time in the 1st phase they may start the registration process for 9 admission-based courses and PG courses and then start the registration process for merit-based courses. He said there will not be a gap of more than a week or 10 days between the two phases.

DU SEEKS STUDENT’S VACCINATION STATUS DURING REGISTRATION

DU Admission Chairman Rajeev Gupta further raise concerns regarding the 12th board result date. It may be possible that all the state boards may not be prepared to declare the 12th class results till July 31.

DU released its one-year report card:

On Monday, Delhi University published its one-year report card. It said that last year because of the coronavirus pandemic, the admission process was conducted completely online and students did not have to go to colleges or departments.

The university said that the students had accessed the online platform from their homes for the admission process, to check the admission list, payment of fee, etc. And the document verification was also performed online. Moreover, the University has explored new avenues with its resources and technique to meet the challenge of Coronavirus (COVID19), offering relevant solutions at every step.
