The information regarding the Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) entrance exam is released. It’s for admission to the undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses. The schedule says that the entrance tests will commence from the 11th of October, 2020 and will continue till November 22, 2020.
This year the application forms were available only on online mode. Due to the ongoing pandemic, offline forms are scraped this year. The forms were released on February 21, 2020, and the last to submit the form was on September 14th,2020.
The students are required to bring two copies of their to admit cards and one photo identity proof for the verification process to the test center. Moreover, the students are expected to go through the rules and instructions.
The university will start the next step to admission procedure i.e. the entrance tests for 126 undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses. The guidelines state that due to the COVID 19 pandemic the minimum gathering is decided. It mentions that not more than 4000 students can give the exam at a point in time.
The Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) university aims to collab with Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) to meet its demand for more entrance test centers. It’s a measure to ensure that social distancing is practiced at every bit.
The prospectus mentions the number of test centers outside Delhi. However, the number of test centers in Delhi is yet to be finalized. The total figure will out soon.
University Grants Commission (UGC) issued the admission related guidelines on the 22nd September 2020. The varsity official told that the Executive Council approved this date sheet. It was done in a meeting held on 22nd September after taking into consideration UGC guidelines.
The recent update says that the admit card details will be out seven days before the commencement of entrance exams. The admit cards will be available for download on the official website of the university. The students can check out it on jmicoe.in.
The students who have filled the application form and paid the fees will get the information on the release of admit cards. They will be notified of SMS and their registered email ids.
The results for this entrance test will be announced on the official website in December. The result will contain the names of the candidates and their respective ranks. The selected candidates are required to go through further qualification rounds.

The next round after the written test is the interview round. The candidates will be admitted based on their performance in the test.
After the release of results, the dates of Jamia Milia Islamia’s counseling will be out. The counseling process will be done according to the final merit list. Before the notified date the interested candidates are expected to complete their admission process and the formalities.
The dates for MPhil and Ph.D. courses will be out after some time.
