The female lead of Kick 2 has been announced by Sajid Nadiadwala. For the sequel also, Jacqueline Fernandez will star opposite Salman Khan. On Tuesday, which is the 35th birthday of Jacqueline, the official Twitter handle of Nadiadwala Grandsons made the announcement.

Kick, which released in 2014, also starred Salman and Jacqueline in the lead roles. Salman played the role of a masked thief called Devi Lal Singh (Devi), who is always looking for a kick in his life. The film also starred Randeep Hooda.

Sajid’s wife Warda took to social media to share the good news. Warda Nadiadwala also wrote that the script of the sequel was also locked by Sajid. Sajid has written an exceptional role for Jacqueline.

Warda wrote that here is your birthday gift that will be remembered forever. She was overjoyed to announce that the script was locked at 4 am this morning by Sajid Nadiadwala and he has written an exceptional role for her.

Salman Khan’s love interest was played by Jacqueline Fernandez in Kick. From the beginning, Jacqueline Fernandez was in talks for the spot of the lead actress in Kick 2. Earlier, Bollywood Hungama report stated that the makers were also considering Pooja Hegde and Kriti Sanon for the lead role.

A source was quoted saying by Bollywood Hungama that Ramzan Eid has now become synonymous with Salman Khan releases. The first part of the movie released on Eid in 2014, hence, the second part will release in May 2021 on Eid.

The makers are yet to announce the official release date and the full cast of Kick 2.
