In the DU admission season 2021, it is witnessed that the number of admissions taken from the Kerela Board is the highest. Hence, it has overthrown Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab state boards this time. Thus, A committee formed by the Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh confirmed it. The job of this committee is to study the representation of different students.

The leading statistics of the Kerela Board students in detail:

A total of 39 Boards have been considered by Delhi University. Also, without any doubt, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has sent the most number of students, i.e., 37,767. However, the Kerela state board is next in line and also at the top when it comes to the state vice division of boards. Thus, a total of 1,890 outstation students were solely from Kerela. Also, the statistics were followed by the Board of school education – Haryana (1,824), ISC Board with 1,606 students, and Board of Secondary Education – Rajasthan with 1,329 students.

This data is accurate as per the committee and also based on the cut-off-based admissions. Also, the reports confirmed that these 5 Boards together have contributed more than 90 percent of admissions at UG levels.

Prefered DU colleges of the Kerela board students:

For students from Kerela, the most preferred Delhi University colleges were Hindu, Ramjas, Miranda, and Hansraj. Hence, they mostly chose on-campus, well-known colleges that had a higher cut-off. Also, the mean percentage of the Kerala Board students was the highest, i.e. 98.4 %. Also, it was followed by Rajasthan percentage mean at 94.7 %, Haryana at 92.7 %, ISC at 92.3 %, and CBSE at 91.3 %.
