To help students who are appearing for the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET and Karnataka Common Entrance Test, KCET, Karnataka Government launched a crash course. The crash course named getCETgo would help students tackle these entrance exams and help them appear for them by preparing more efficiently.

The initiative is launched at Vidhan Soudha. Moreover, the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka Dr. C.N. Ashwath Narayan said that getCETgo would provide classes and conduct tests for the students.

HOW MUCH GETCETGO COSTS?

He further said that the initiative would help more than two lakh students. GetCETgo would not cost more than Rs.40,000 for any student. The crash course has a google rating of 4.3 and it would be in operation from the coming academic year.

GETCETGO WAS LAUNCHED IN 2020

Karnataka administration would be responsible for the conduction of the crash course. Karnataka introduced getCETgo in 2020 in association with Digilearn Private Ltd. It merges technology and content thoroughly. The crash course includes chapters, revision, mock tests, and homework as well.

STUDENTS CAN ACCESS THROUGH WEB PORTAL, APP AND YOUTUBE CHANNEL

Students would study and grab benefits from this structured course. On the other hand, there is an effective system that would place students in a position according to their performance. Through this initial, Karnataka aims at increasing the strength of students to get into IITs. Students can access to getCETgo through a web portal, YouTube channel, and android app.

SERVICES OF GETCETGO

The makers of this initiative focused on providing support services like login support, doubt clearing, and 24/7 customer support services too. While launching this initiative, the Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa said that GetCETgo was launched last year. It aims at providing coaching for KCET and NEET exams.

However, the government has now made up this initiative for JEE students also. He further said that the coronavirus pandemic made them feel the need of providing help to students. They went off track because the academic content was limited. On the other hand, this initiative would be more beneficial to the students belonging to the backward classes.
