JNU campus reopen

From December 21, Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU) is ready to reopen its campus for students. In a statement issued today, Registrar Pramod Kumar notified that PWD-PhD science students are enabled to enter the campus in phase-IV.

The varsity has also issued necessary COVID-19 guidelines to reopen the campus. It examines that students have to fill a self-declaration form before entering the campus, and students from outside have to undergo self-quarantine for a week to come.

As per the Varsity, social aggregation should be avoided in academic blocks and other parts of the university. Social notification norms (6 ft radius) should be kept inside the lab, JNU has mentioned in its notification.

Whereas the central library, canteens, and dhabas will stay closed, and no meetings will be authorized. Or it will be through the online mode.

The statement said a certificate from supervisors noting that the student needs admission to the lab for their thesis will be expected for entry. Among the 15 compulsory guidelines is the usage of the Aarogya Setu app.
