The Jawaharlal Nehru University on Monday 1st February permitted its fourth semester MTech and MPhil students from its special center and science school, as well as final year students pursuing Master of Business Administration, both hostel residents, and day-scholars to return to the JNU campus in it’s 7th phase of JNU reopening.

An official notification issued by the Jawaharlal Nehru University, all those students who need to access the laboratory and are in obligation to submit their theses or dissertation before 30th June are permitted to enter the campus in JNU reopening under 7th phase.

Shops & Complexes to reopen under 7TH Phase of JNU Reopening

It further announced the immediate reopening of authorized shops in the campus including those providing snacks, tea, and refreshments to residential areas and hostels. Furthermore, it includes reopening of shopping complex, Poorvanchal, Tapti, and Paschimavad complex. However, canteens and dhabas in the JNU campus shall remain closed till further notice.

The University further announced that Yoga activists in sports complex are also permitted to return to campus with immediate effect and will be carried as per the standard operating preventive measures.

Furthermore, entry of NCC Girls Cadets will also be permitted as their physical presence is necessary for their NCC ‘B’ Certificate.

DU REOPENS: STUDENTS SEARCH FOR PGs AND OTHER ACCOMMODATIONS

The notification added that the facility of e-autorickshaw will also commence inside the campus.

The Jawaharlal Nehru University has begun the classes for fourth year MCA, MSc, and Ph.D. students from 1st February. It had even reopened the Indian Coffee House and Aravali Guest House for the takeaway facility and the sports complex for running and walking purposes only.
