JNU will be reopening the campus for the third-year Science Ph.D. students. The campus will be reopening after months of online classes being governed since March 2021. The university will also be restarting the classes for the pupils with disabilities or PwD students for both bachelor’s and master’s courses.
The JNU has been reopening for the students in phases deeming the COVID-19 pandemic. The campus is now reopening for the third-year Science Ph.D. students as part of Phase 10 of the campus reopening so that the students have entry to laboratories and other facilities delivered by the university.
Canteen reopening
JNU will also be reopening the canteen facilities excluding ‘Mughal Darbar’ and all the owners or managers of the food eating joints inside the campus have been notified to operate as per the COVID-19 protocols issued.
JNU reopen : Phase 11
Phase 11 of the reopening will enable the final year MPhil students incorporating day scholars and hostellers who require access to labs and other facilities to submit their essay of the final year project. The last date for students to submit the dissertation is June 30, 2021.
The university has allowed the reopening of the railway reservation counter and also started up the other on-campus shops including salons, xerox facility, laundry, and others. Students will not face any problem for this campThe staff members have also been instructed to supervise online meetings only if feasible and physical meetings must be conducted only if necessary with minimum members. The Dean of the university has also been entrusted to ensure that everyone follows the protocols issued inside the campus.
