JNU Rector resigns

Big news has come out of Jawaharlal Nehru University. Ajay Kumar Dubey, JNU rector resigns from the University. The reason for the resignation of the rector is being told for a long time by the student organization ABVP against him. Further, the resignation of the Rector has been accepted by the Competent Authority with immediate effect.

Allegations of Corruption 

Ajay Kumar has submitted his resignation to the administration of the university. As there were allegations of corruption on him. A section of Jawaharlal Nehru University teachers and students had levelled corruption allegations against Rector Ajay Kumar Dubey and were demanding his resignation. And, a student outfit has been protesting against the clash for the last several days.

Further, the ABVP convener gave a statement. ABVP’s state media convener Ambuj said that the rector of JNU has resigned. The rector launched deadly attacks on students demanding fellowships, harassed female colleagues and was also involved in running NGOs.

Moreover, students were assaulted a few days back, and the security personnel in JNU assaulted the students. The allegations were that the incident took place at the order of Ajay Dubey, the rector of Jawahar Lal University. Therefore, the student organization ABVP was protesting demanding the resignation of the rector.

ABVP students called it a victory

ABVP student leaders have different opinions and reactions after their resignations. Jawaharlal Nehru University Rector Ajay Kumar Dubey resigned, after which ABVP student leaders called their victory. Moreover, there is happiness in the camp which is seen in opposition to the rector. JNU was in the news for the last few days in this clash incident.
