JNU OFFLINE CLASSES TO START FROM MONDAY

JNU offline classes: Jawaharlal Nehru University’s authorities permit schools and centers to begin offline learning from Monday, 7 February 2022. This is by the Friday notification of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA).

On Friday, the DDMA had allowed all higher education institutes to resume offline learning mode. Further, the decision has been taken by observing the decline in Covid-19 cases in Delhi.

WHAT DOES THE UNIVERSITY ORDER SAY ON JNU OFFLlNE CLASSES?

As per the University authority’s order, Chairpersons and Deans of schools and centers can begin physical teaching, learning, and other academic activities. They may resume JNU offline classes from Monday onwards.

Moreover, the University will be fully functional now, as capacity increases to 100 percent. Therefore, all staff will attend their offices. Also, each JNU authorized canteen shall function from 8 AM to 11 PM. However, canteens function at 50 percent capacity only.

Besides, Delhi Disaster Management Authority permits all schools to reopen. Only for students of classes 9th to 12th in a phased manner from Monday. The instructions are to stick to hybrid mode. And, DDMA instructs to take all appropriate measures to ensure safety for students. Further, authority issues all other strict Covid-19 guidelines.
