Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU ) has declared its scholastic calendar which, in addition to other things, has fixed the cutoff time for the finishing of examinations by July 31.

JNU vice-chancellor M Jagdesh Kumar on Saturday said the scholarly schedule has been collectively endorsed by all the senior members of schools and Chairperson of Special Centers.

Likely, understudies are required to return to the JNU grounds by July 31, he said.

The following semester for the proceeding with understudies will begin from August 1.

Regardless of whether the assessment results are prepared or not by July 31, understudies will have the chance to temporarily enlist and on to the following semester.

The VC further said that the entire even semester enlistment procedure will be totally web-based making it simple for the understudies to enlist even from their homes.

The cutoff time for research students to submit their theses/dissertations have been stretched out to December 31.

The VC further included that the scholarly schedule is conditional right now and relies upon how the lockdown is lifted in stages the nation over and what new rules we may get from the UGC.
