Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU) has elected to invite students to submit their theses, researches, and dissertations for M.Tech, M.Phil, and Ph.D. programs through online mode. The JNU has also simplified the procedure, forms, perfunctory, and annexure adopted in the submissions of the projects. The Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU) has further replaced the required forms and perfunctory with three forms. For the online submission of theses and perfunctory, the students are now required to submit only students’ declaration form, supervisors’ consent forms, and recommendation form.
The statement issued by the examination branch of JNU reads that the university has enabled an online system to accept the theses and perfunctory of students. The system is said to ease the tasks of students and facilitate them in the submission process. Dissertations of M.Phil, Ph.D., and M.Tech courses will be submitted by students through this system.
The Vice-Chancellor of the JNU, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, through his social media handle, said that an online system fir submission of theses of Ph.D., M.Tech, and, M.Phil courses have been introduced. The online system intends for reducing the intervention of humans. Also, it will facilitate research scholars to take up their academic research with ease amid coronavirus.
JNU vice-chancellor further added that it is important to fetch an enabling ecosystem to make JNU one of the top Universities in the world. Therefore the University is inaugurating productive and efficient academic and administrative protocols.

M.Tech, Ph.D., and M.Phil students who are eligible for submission of their researches are required to submit work online. The students are expected to comply with the steps mentioned on the official website to complete the process of submission. Also, the other vital requirements such as plagiarism inspection of the dissertations and theses will be done online. Furthermore, the students will be able to do the fee payment digitally with ease. This way students will not be troubled and will not be required to roam around for no dues clearance.
The examination Branch of JNU has also furnished a step by step guide for the students. The guidelines will ease the students in following up on the procedure and submit their theses and dissertations.
