For February 2021 examination, JEE Main 2021 Registration would close tomorrow – 16 January 2021. Before the last date, NTA, National Testing Agency, has released an important statement regarding a fake site for JEE Main 2021. An official notice is available on websites nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in. According to the official notice, a fake website with the URL jeeguide.co.in is regulating online. Candidates and parents are therefore informed and advised caution.
Candidates may be requested to note that the fake website functioning as a website for JEE Main 2021 is approving online applications as well as fee submissions. The website has also allocated contact information on the site and is operative. However, NTA will not consider any applications made to this website as fake, the notice added.
NTA mentioned that It is clear that neither NTA nor any of its employees have any federation with the aforesaid EMAIL, URL, and MOBILE for JEE MAINS 2021. Moreover, the agent has also instructed of other such unethical elements that might attempt to deceive candidates. NTA would also be nestling a legal complaint in the Cyber Cell of Delhi Police against the fake website of JEE Mains 2021.
Guardians and candidates are informed only to apply to jeemain.nta.nic.in which is the official website of JEE Main 2021. Furthermore, the official website of the National Testing Agency is nta.ac.in. Interested students can click on the direct link given here to begin the enrollment process.
Official statement further asks aspiring applicants and their parents/guardians not to be deceived by such websites or agents/elements behind it. They are further urged to enroll a formal complaint with their respective regional police station/cybercrime cell, under indication of the same to NTA at email@example.com, as and when appearing across such fake websites or any unethical agents/elements.
