JEE MAIN 2021: NTA CLARIFIES 2019 ENTRANCE EXAM CANDIDATES CANNOT APPLY

The National Talent Agency (NTA) has amended a rule for JEE Main 2021 applicants. It refers that aspirants who have appeared once in JEE Main 2019 or JEE Main Advanced 2019 rather than 2020 will not be enabled to appear in the 2021 examinations.

NTA had notified that an aspirant can attempt for JEE (Advanced) for two consecutive years, even if they have passed the qualifying examination that is JEE Main.

The first try for the National Engineering Entrance Examination will be held from 23 February to 26 February.

NTA had provided several different eligibility conditions for the JEE exam given below:-

Candidates should appear in Bachelors in Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) of JEE Main 2021 exam. Based on their achievement in the entrance test, they will be enabled to give the JEE Advanced 2021 exam.

Aspirants should have cleared the final examination with the science stream in class 12th with a minimum of 75% marks.

The aspirants who have seized admission into any supplementary institutes other than the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in 2020 are also eligible for the upcoming exams.
