The second phase of the Joint Entrance Exam i.e. JEE Main 2021 exam for admission in engineering courses will begin in March. The registration process for the JEE Main exam to be conducted in March 2021 has started. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has asked for online applications for registration for the JEE Main 2021 exam for the March session on its official website from Tuesday, March 02, 2021.
Eligible and interested candidates can apply online for the March session of JEE Main 2021 on the official website of NTA JEE Main. Enrollments for the second phase of the JEE Main 2021 exam will be submitted by March 06, 2021.
The first phase examination was conducted from 23 to 26 February 2021. After this, the 2nd session will be held from 15 March to 18 March, the 3rd session from 27 April to 30 April, and the 4th session from 24 May to 28 May 2021. The admit cards for the 1st session of JEE Main were disclosed in the first week of February 2021. The exams for the next phases will also be held in 2 innings. The first shift of the exam will be held from 09 am to 12 noon and the second shift exam will be held from 03 to 6 pm.
The Union Education Minister mentioned that every year about 8-9 lakh students register for JEE Main for admission in NIT, IIT, other centrally funded technical institutes (CFTIs), universities funded/ institutions/ accredited/ state governments.
Nishank said that NTA has designed a new exam pattern for JEE Main. Students have to answer only 75 out of 90 questions. There will be 15 objective-type questions for which there will be no negative marking.

The Union Education Minister stated that the pattern of conducting JEE Main 2021 four times a year will allow the students to know their mistakes and weak areas. This change will provide them many chances to enhance their score. So that students will be eligible to prepare well in the next phase of the examination.

JEE Main 2021 paper will be made accessible in many Indian languages. Students will be able to choose the language of the question paper at their convenience. Paper will also be available in 13 regional languages including Hindi, English, Assamese, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. However, the questions will be in the English language along with all the regional languages.
