JEE Main 2020 application forms are re-opened; the candidates can apply till May 24 at the official websites – jeemain.nta.nic.in or nta.ac.in. The candidates who have not previously applied can apply afresh from the deadline,.
JEE Main Exam 2020 is scheduled between July 18 and July 23.
JEE Main 2020: Since the coronavirus pandemic, most of the students who were left away with the plans to have their study abroad will now be allowed to apply their candidature for the JEE Main once again.
The HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal informed that the JEE Main portal has been opened and the candidates can fill the application submission form for JEE Main 2020 before the deadline. He had tweeted the day before yesterday, “The students who want to write JEE (Main): Students who have dropped the plan to study abroad and now have to study in India. A major announcement is yet coming your way! Stay tuned for further details.”
Now, the announcement has been made by the Education Minister of India, Ramesh Pokhriyal and the JEE Main 2020 application form is available again to help the students who have finally dropped the plan to study abroad till May 24. Those who have not earlier completed their application form can also be benefited from this program. The last date of the form submission is May 24 up to 5 pm and the fee payment deadline is scheduled up to May 24, 11:50 pm.
Most of the students from the science background plan to apply for JEE Main 2020, but this idea was lest stipulated after the coronavirus outbreak in India which led to the lockdown in the entire country. So to inculcate the loss of the students The Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal made an announcement to reopen the JEE Main portal again
The details for how to apply for the JEE Main Exam are given below.
Step 1: Visit – jeemain.nta.nic.in, the official website.
Step 2: Click on the application form button, on the homepage of the official website.
Step 3: Click on the way you would like to apply.
Step 4: Register yourself first, if you have not applied by using the credentials.
Step 5: Verify the details
Step 6: Create log-in
Step 7: Fill the form, filling the required details, upload the images
Step 7: Make the final payment
Step 8: Submit the form
JEE Main 2020: Application fee
The application fee for JEE Main Exam is Rs 650. The female candidate has to pay the half fee like that for the total fee i-e Rs 325. For Sc, ST, PwD, and transgender category the fee is the same as that of the female candidates is Rs 325. Those who wish to apply for both papers will have to submit Rs 1300. For the same, reserved category candidates and females, the same is Rs 650.
JEE Main 2020 is scheduled between July 18 and July 23. AS from JEE Main, candidates are allowed to take admission in the undergraduate engineering and architecture programs in Indian institutes and NITs. JEE Main is also the apex step to take admission in JEE Advanced.
