Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will be announcing the JEE Advanced 2021 examination dates on 7th January 2021. Hence, he made this announcement on his Twitter platform. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will also be announcing the eligibility criteria for admissions in the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) along with the JEE Advanced dates.

The announcement of the Joint Entrance Exams (JEE) advanced Exam dates will be done in the evening at around 6 p.m.

Status of JEE Advanced after the pandemic:

Due to the worldwide spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, many students faced issues in giving their examinations in 2020. Hence, some couldn’t appear for their JEE mains and some were unable to crack due to various reasons. Therefore, these students have requested for some relaxations. They even reached out to Mr. Ramesh Pokriyal and the IIT Delhi Director, as IIT Delhi was the conducting authority. Hence, these students have been requesting an additional attempt.

The Ministry of Education will attend to these requests and questions now. Many students from the batch of 2020 are hoping for an additional attempt this time.

JEE MAINS 2021: DOS AND DON’TS WHILE FILLING THE EXAM FORM

Eligibility for JEE Advanced 2021:

Students who have appeared for their 12th Board Examination in the preceding year can sit for the exam. Hence, students who had appeared for the 12th Board Examination in 2019 cannot sit for JEE Advanced 2021. Also, two attempts will be given for JEE Advanced 2021.

The Joint Entrance Exam (Mains) will be held in four sessions as per directions. Hence, the exam will take place in February, March, April, and May. The February session will be held from 23rd to 26th February. Also, it will be followed by the other three sessions, one in each month.
