JEE Advanced 2020: The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has disclosed the question paper only a day after conducting the exam. The IIT Delhi will release the preliminary answer key on September 29 and for which feedback and challenges will be accepted till September 30. Moreover, students can visit the website jeeadv.ac.in to download the question paper.
The result of JEE Advanced 2020 will be announced on October 5. And on the same day, the final answer key will also be released. Organizing team members of JEE Advanced 2020 said in an official statement that the conduction of the exam was a challenge. Due to COVID-19, as per the manpower and infrastructure, IIT Delhi has successfully accomplished this challenge.
There were a total of 2.5 lakh candidates were eligible to enroll for the IIT entrance exam and 1.60 lakh had applied among them. Moreover, about 96% of the candidates attended the exam. Approximately 1.51 lakh students had appeared in paper-1 and in paper-2, about 1.50 lakh students. On September 27 exam was held across 1000 exam centers and among 222 cities.
Students who clear JEE Advanced will be qualified for admission to IITs after counseling. From November 9, the seat allotment process will begin for the same. In any case, there is a tie between two then the student having more positive marks will be allotted better rank.
However, if again there is still a tie between the candidates then the student who scores more marks in mathematics, followed by physics will be given a better rank. And if there is again tie then as per rule the same rank will be assigned to the candidates.
JEE ADVANCED OBSERVED LEAST PRESENCE FROM PAST 3 YEARS
In all categories, rank lists for preparatory courses will be prepared for ST, SC, and PwD students. No waiting list will be there and student who qualifies in more than one category will be assumed in all the categories. There are approximately 20% of seats reserved for female candidates.
