The IIT Delhi has announced that this year, the JEE Advanced 2020 will not be conducted in foreign centers. An official notice has been issued by the Institute related to this on the official website. This decision has been taken due to the, according to the notice, current restrictions imposed on foreign travel and visa issuance.

Therefore, the authorities have decided to not conduct the JEE Advanced 2020 in foreign centers. It has also been announced by the authorities that the eligible candidates who are staying abroad can select Indian centers to appear for the exams. The preferred choices have to be selected by the candidates from the list of exam cities in India for appearing in the exams.

The JEE Advanced 2020 has been postponed this year among the COVID-19 pandemic. The Examination was, earlier, scheduled to be conducted in the month of May. Now, the exam will be conducted on September 27, 2020.

It was announced by IIT Delhi, earlier, that the syllabus will not be changed for JEE Advanced 2020 and will remain the same for this year. In this context, a press release has been made by IIT Delhi confirming that despite the requests of many students, the syllabus for JEE Advanced 2020 remains the same.

This year, the IIT Delhi has decided to relax the admission criterion because of the partial cancellation of board exams of several boards because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This news was also shared by the HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on his Twitter handle.
