Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Delhi is going to announce the JEE Advanced results on 5th October 2020. IIT Delhi, the commencing authority of the examination and has released this date. Approximately 1.5 lakh students appeared for the examination and the results for the same will be declared. The JEE advanced results will be made available on the official website – jeeadv.ac.in

A huge number of around 1,60,831 students have already applied for the admission tests to be held in the IITs. However, 96% of the students did actually sit for the examination which was commenced on 27th September, 2020. Paper 1 was conducted from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and included 1,51,311 candidates. Paper 2 was conducted from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. which contained 1,50,900 students. Hence, these students can access their results with the help of their application number.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority(joSAA)’s role:

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority(joSAA) was formulated by the ministry of education. Its main role is to manage and regulate the conductance of the erstwhile Joint seat allocation and examination for admission purposes. Therefore, admissions in 111 institutes in the academic year of 2020-21 are to be governed.

The JEE Advanced 2020 result date has been announced in the joSAA’s online counseling schedule. After the result announcement, joSAA will begin with its counseling, and also initiate the process of seat allotment. The joSAA counseling is a centrally organized online program. Hence, it is entrusted with the duty of admitting qualified JEE advanced candidates to the IITs.

1. Open the site – jeeadv.ac.in
2. Click on the link- JEE Advanced Result 2020
3. Fill in the required credentials (e.g. Admission number)
4. Submit the details
5. Download the JEE Advanced results

JEE ADVANCED 2020: ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

Candidates are required to secure 75% aggregate marks in their 12th board examinations. Although, passing JEE advanced and joSAA’s allotment will not help the aspirations secure a seat in the IITs. So, Admission will out-and-out depend on the availability of seats.

Details present on the JEE Advanced Result List 2020:

The scorecard will be composed of the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and mathematics. Marks of both, Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be provided. Several other details like the Total Rank and the rank in Common Rank List(CRL) will be followed. Hence, the scorecard details include-

3. Candidate’s Name
4. Candidate’s Date of Birth(DOB)
