An official order was passed on Sunday. The officials of Jammu and Kashmir reestablished the high-speed mobile internet facility. They restored the internet service on a preliminary premise in Jammu and Kashmir. These services were restored for more than a year after they suspended the office.

After several days the Centre had informed the Supreme Court the 4G Internet services were restored on mobile devices. However, the center had told that a special committee was looking into the matter. The committee was thinking about permitting the facility on a preliminary premise in two areas of the Union Territory.

The Home department of Jammu and Kashmir issued an order regarding mobile data services. The high-speed mobile data services will be reestablished. It will be reestablished in Jammu region and Ganderbal district of Kashmir

The order further added that it will stay till 8 September next month.

The order mentioned that high-speed Internet will be given to post-paid customers. Moreover, prepaid subscribers need to complete the verification process in order to enjoy the benefit of the services.
The rest of J & K will enjoy only 2G services.

Before the Centre’s announcement on August 5, internet services were snapped in Jammu and Kashmir. A year ago that the unique status of the state would be annulled and it would be part of two Union Regions.

Afterward, Internet services with low-speed were re-established in J & K.
