The students of Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Berhampur have come up with an innovation to design 3D graphics sculpture fabrication art. With this creative concept, sculptures up to a hundred ft with sky color backgrounds can be developed and installed.
The most significant fact in the sculptures is that they can be effortlessly carried when and where needed. This can expend only scrap metal sheets at low expense and lightweight. The candidates have created the technique under the leadership of Principal, Dr. Rajat Kumar Panigrahy, ITI Berhampur.
Dr. Panigrahy said that this exhibits a new era of skill development on welding, computer graphics, grinding, painting, cutting skills are combined to develop the skill and this will be a new star of interest in the public meetings of political leaders. This will further add importance to a circular economy by organizing employment in this area.
Dr. Panigrahy said that the first art is devoted to honorable Biju Pattnaik on his 105th Birth anniversary.
ITI Berhampur joined the Asia Book of Records in November 2020, for designing the largest open-air scrap sculpture museum. Inaugurated inside the ITI campus, the Scrap Sculpture Park was condemned as the largest open-air particle sculpture park in Asia.
ITI Berhampur had enrolled 3 of its innovative products developed to fight against COVID-19 in the invention journal, last year, in August.
Following the footsteps of NITs, IITs, and ITI Berhampur has enlisted in the patent institute club of the country. In the coming days, this accomplishment will the catapult more it is participation towards cataloging patents for their inventions and contribute towards fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Aatmnirbhar Bharat”.
