When will the CBSE hold the Board Exams?

The Central Board of Secondary Education will hold the Board Exams 2021 from May. Hence, it will initiate from 7th May and continue up till June. The practical exams will be conducted by all schools in March. Generally, the practical exams and the pre boards are held in January and the main exams are held in February and March. However, there has been an unnecessary delay in the academic year 2021 due to the covid-19 pandemic. The CBSE Board has decided to take exams via physical mode and declare results by mid-July.

A claim has been circulating on social media for a few days. The claim says that the passing percentile of CBSE 10th and 12th students has been reduced from 33 percent to 23 percent. Hence, with the approaching Board Exams, this statement has led the students bewildered.

PIB clarifies the confusion of 10th and 12th students:

The circulating claim is declared false. Hence, this eliminates the confusion of all appearing students. Therefore, there will be no change in the passing marks criteria. It will be 33 percent like before. However, the ministry of education has not made any remark on this matter. The Press Information Bureau (PIB) made this official statement on Twitter. Hence, students are guided not to believe in any false claims and rather focus on studying.
