Six days ago, he wrote his whole sad story on LinkedIn after his voice was unheard by the Delhi University and urged the University Grant Commission to help his family.
Rahul Gupta is the son of a professor of Mathematics at the Placement cell who had given his almost 40 years of service at Delhi University.

He said that he lost his father and brother on 9 May 2021 due to covid-19. So, after this whole incident, DU didn’t come with a helping hand. Even they deny paying his father gratuity, pension, leave encashment, and whatnot. Consequently, this behavior of such a prestigious university has broken his family on a greater level.
From May 2021 to today, he is continuously calling, writing emails, visiting every department to urge in the university. But no one is answering and completely showing their negligence towards their teachers.

Moreover, he added he would also seek help from his friends who might know the officers who can help him. He is entirely broken to see how the teachers are being treated in India.
