IP University has concluded to postpone the online proctored end-semester exams due to bad internet services in Delhi. According to Prodyut Bhattacharya, Controller of examination, IP University the new dates for the online examinations will be instructed soon in a way that they do not overlap with the other exams.

Connectivity issues 

Students who are appearing for the examinations on February 1, 2021, grumbled that they will be unable to register for the exams due to the lack of internet services. The end-semester examinations are planned to commence from January 27, 2021, with an option for students to appear for the exams from a test center in South West Delhi – Mahavir Enclave. While speaking to the media, Bhattacharya further added that with the internet connection stopping on Tuesday the exams have been halted illustrating the irregular transmission and blocked internet or mobile facilities for security reasons.

Also, the Students stated that many of them tried to register for the exams on Tuesday but failed and the information for the postponement of the exams was disclosed on January 27, 2021, before which students were anxious.

The end semester IP University exams are being performed online due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.  The examinations were postponed contemplating the pandemic following which the university agreed to conduct the examinations in the online mode.
