To enable this feature of Instagram in iOS, click on a comment, and then dotted icon in the top right corner. Select Manage Comments and you can choose up to 25 comments at once to delete at once and then tap ‘More Options’ to block or prohibit accounts in bulk.

Instagram has notified that it is rolling out new prominent changes, that include the ability to delete offensive comments in order to make the platform a positive place for the users.

“We are launching a new element to assist the people to manage multiple unwanted interactions at once. We know it can feel awful to manage a rush of negative comments, so we’ve been testing the ability to delete comments in bulk, as well as block or restricts several accounts that post negative comments,” the company notified in a statement late Tuesday.

In Android phones, if you want to restrict or block the comments, click and hold the selected comment, tap on the dotted icon, and select Block or Restrict.

The user of social media, Instagram, can also get the ability to regulate who can tag or mention them in a post, story, comment, and caption.

“You can select according to your own will, whether you want everyone, only people you follow or no one to be able to tag or mention you in any comment, caption, or displayed Story,” the company further notified.

Instagram is also working on the development of ‘pinned comments’ that will allow the users to actually pin comments on the top of the post.

This feature also gives people a way to set the tone of the account and communicate with their community by pinning selected comments to the tip of their comments thread.
