Staff Selection Commission

On its official website, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released guidelines for the SSC exams. The candidates need to follow the updated guidelines where the Commission has included the latest guidelines for the upcoming COVID-19 pandemic.

The guidelines can be checked by the candidates who are appearing for the SSC exams at www.ssc.nic.in.

Candidates need to bring a print-out of the COVID-19 self-declaration form, as per the guidelines, to their examination center, otherwise, they will not be allowed to sit for the exams.

The following things should be available with the candidates:

A hand sanitizer

A face mask

A transparent water bottle

Two recent colored passport size photographs

A valid photo-bearing identity proof

The admit card

The commission has asked candidates to reach before the reporting time and maintain six feet of distance among each other, in order to maintain social distancing at the SSC exams center.

The SSC exam guidelines read that contactless certificate verification will be conducted by flashing of admit card and valid photo ID proof at the document verification desk.

The notice further read that the candidates should avoid wearing items like bracelets, nose pins, charms, earrings, kadas, etc.
