IIT Roorkee, a prominent research and public technical university located in Uttarakhand has invited applications from students for a regular two year residential Master of Business Administration programme (MBA). The MBA course is a two-year academic course devided into eight semesters. Enrolled students will be enabled with the knowledge of techniques and core management concepts in the first year which is after that promoted to practicing skills and advanced knowledge in the areas of specialization opted by the final year students.
Currently, over 95 seats are available in the MBA programme and there will be qualms as per the rules set up by the Indian Government. The interviews for the selected candidates will be administered in March 2021 in IIT Roorkee, however, due to the coronavirus pandemic situation the interviews might be conducted in an online mode according to the situation at that time.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for MBA Programme at IIT Roorkee
The application procedure for admission to the MBA program at IIT Roorkee is open to students who have completed their graduation or an equivalent professional qualification recognized by UGC in any discipline with at least 60% marks for the unreserved category students, and over 55% for ST, SC, and PWD students. Final year students who fulfill the eligibility criteria can also apply for the MBA programme.
The Institute will consider the CAT 2020 score while shortlisting candidates. However, IIT graduates who cleared JEE Advance and obtained a CGPA of 7.0 or above are exempted from the statute of CAT score and can appear for a direct interview. For other graduate students, IIT Roorkee will release a merit list.

Procedure to Apply for MBA Programme at IIT Roorkee
Students who fulfill the required eligibility criteria are required to submit an online registration form before 3rd February 2021. For general category students, the application fee is Rs. 1600, while for OBC and EWS category the application fee is Rs. 800. Students can check IIT Roorkee’s website to know the complete details.
