IIT Madras, or Indian Institute of Technology Madras, begun its first online internship drive. 20 companies made 152 proposals on the first day to undergraduate students.
An official articulation said top Indian and worldwide organizations, including Google, Microsoft India, Jane Street’s Quantitative Researcher, and Rubrik’s Software Development talked with students over video conferencing stages and offered internships for the Midyear of 2021.
Prof. N.V. Ravi Kumar, Advisor (Internship), IIT Madras, said in a statement that he is happy to notify that the for day one, online internship interviews have been quite successful.
IIT Madras Internship Office executed 3 student surveys and 2 surveys with organizations that continually recruit their students for placements and internships before showing up at this date of August 30, for the very beginning.
Ravi Kumar added that they had mentioned organizations to be adaptable thinking that few of their students were distant and remote where internet access is not good as in urban areas.
