The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur is collaborating with Vinod Gupta School of Management(VGSOM) to launch a short term course. This business school is located in the IIT Kharagpur campus.
The course is Introduction to R Programming and Data Analytics. The main motive to launch this program is to create data Analytics and introductory data scientists. A data analyst is someone who uses technology and programming skills to analyze data and reports. He or she creates a simple visual pattern so than a large number of people can understand it clearly. One who wants to become a data scientist enters the field as data analysts.

PROFESSORS OF IIT KHARAGPUR WILL TEACH THE PARTICIPANTS
The short term course will begin on 7 November. Professors at IIT Kharagpur and industry leaders will teach the students online. Students of first-year B.Tech, engineering graduates, teachers, scientific officers, technical assistants, and working professions can enroll for this course. On completion of this short term course, participants will get a certificate from VGSOM and IIT Kharagpur.

TEACHERS WILL TAKE CLASSES ONLY ON WEEKENDS
Candidates shortlisted for the course will receive a payment link on their Email ID within a few days. The course includes lecture sessions, hands-on exercises, case students, and discussion on current issues. Teachers will take the classes only on Saturday and Sunday for 3 hours.
