Along with engineering, medical studies will also be held at IIT Kanpur. A super specialty hospital will be ready with research. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has prepared for this.

It will be a budget of Rs 20 crore. This money has been given as Gurudakshina by the students of the 1996 batch. The 1996 batch students of IIT Kanpur organized the online reunion program. In which more than 100 students from different countries participated.

The alumni recalled memories while studying at IITs. During this time the Director of the Indian Institute of Technology Prof. Abhay Kardikar described the achievements made during the Corona period.

There was also the sadness of the alumni not coming to the IITs. Secretary of the Dean of Resources and Alumni Association, Prof. Jayant Kumar Singh said that the alumni are continuously working for the development of IIT Kanpur.
