To encourage and facilitate the development of collaborative learning and mutually researched research activities, IIT Hyderabad has collaborated with the University of Hyderabad. The two institutions have signed a memorandum of understanding that will work for the technical uplift of both organizations.
Prof. BS on MoU Murthy, IIT Hyderabad, and Mr.P. Sardar Singh, Registrar, UOH, signed in the presence of the VC, UOH, and officials of both institutions and officials to facilitate and enhance academic interaction between UOH and IITH.
The main purposes of this collaboration are to share and implement best practices to strengthen the quality of teaching, learning, and research processes. The second motive is to provide technical support to scholars, students, and faculty members doing research work.
Vice-Chancellor of UOH, Pro. Appa Rao Podile expressed happiness at UOH and IITH in formalizing this MoU and hoped that both institutions would benefit from this collaboration. UOH has strived to achieve the highest standard in knowledge, research, and broadcasting and is committed to specializing with IITs to bring this knowledge to meet the great challenges of society, He said.
Within the sphere of the collaboration, the two institutions plan to conduct faculty development programs for the benefit of both institutions. Further, as per the statement issued by the organization, collaborative research, and development work, which have joint publications arising out of collaborative works, are further plans of IIT Hyderabad and the University of Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, the University of Hyderabad will start its entrance exam on 24 September. The entrance examination will be performed from September 24 to 26 for admission to several postgraduate and research courses. This year, more than 62,000 candidates seeking admission will appear for the entrance examination.
