Indian Institute of Bombay is conducting the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam 2021. It has released the date of the entrance exam.
According to officials, students who want to register for GATE 2021 can apply for it from September 14 to September 30 on the website. The application window will only be open from September 14 to 30. The website to register for GATE 2021 is gate.iitb.ac.in. According to the latest updates, students can submit the application form by October 7 by paying the late fee. Those students who want to revise their submitted forms can do it up to 13 November. From 8 January, 2021 students will start receiving their admit cards on the website.
GATE 2021 WILL BE HELD IN FEBRUARY
The exam of GATE 2021 will be held from February 5 to February 14 in two shifts. The first shift will be in the morning from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift for GATE 2021 will be from 3 pm to 6 pm. However, the shifts are tentative. It may be changed later.

TWO NEW SUBJECTS INCLUDED IN THE SYLLABUS
There are some changes for the students appearing for GATE 2021. Two new subjects are added. The new subjects are Environmental Science and Engineering (ES) and Humanities and Social Science (XS). The director of IIT Bombay Subhasis Chaudhuri expressed his gratitude towards the new subjects.
NEW CARRIER OPPORTUNITIES FOR HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCE STUDENTS
He said that now students would get new career opportunities in the Humanities and Social Science sector. This is a systematic way to admit students in various port graduation courses and doctoral programs in various IITs and other universities across the country. He further said that the new curriculum of GATE 2021 will enable Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) to hire students from humanities backgrounds.
BETTER CAREER OPTION FOR THIRD YEAR STUDENTS
This year, there are certain restrictions released regarding the eligibility criteria of GATE 2021. Third-year undergraduate students can also apply for GATE 2021 entrance exam. The criteria of 10+2+4 is changed with 10+2+3. This enabled third-year students to appear for the GATE 2021 exam. This is an additional opportunity for the students to improve their performance and secure better career options.
